1976 Rudolph Valentino "The Sheik," Statuette

This is a random item from 1976. It is a statuette of Valentino from The Sheik. This is one of 12 movie statuettes created by Raymond Richard Lamb. I appreciate Mr. Lamb for including Valentino in this set, unfortunately the image of Valentino does not resemble him very well. Even still do I want one for my collection.....of course I do. There really should be some medical name for people who collect things pertaining to one person that continually buys everything that can be found, regardless if you think it is attractive or not. I mean, it is a sickness! Haha, more like an addiction, my name is Brad I have a Valentino collectible addiction. Anyway, I still want one!

  3. Just say it- It's tacky and cheesy but some of the best things are, like 80s Hair Bands.
What I want to know is what your wife thinks about your condition?

  4. You said cheesy not me. She thinks I am a bit on the crazy side, especially when she gets copied on Paypal emails, that come her way, however she does a great job at Christmas hunting down a few goodies for me. She knows the value of some of the things I have, so I think that helps.

  6. Maybe I can do a collection post, and ask others to send photos of their collection as well. That would be very interesting to post a few photos of others collection as well.

So did you win everything for 150 pounds with shipping included? So that is about $225 in Canadian and US dollars? If so, that is a great price, let me know.

  8. You got a good deal all together, the Daydreams book along is worth more than that.

  9. I think the DayDreams book go for give or take $250 alone, I recieved a few song sheets as well they go for easily $75-100 on their own as well. they was a few books like Madame Valentino as well, nothing worth more than $15-20 on their own.

I didn't bother even telling people I bought song sheets as I don't play piano to use them lol...it's really prehistoric.
