This is a colorized Tobacco Card from Gallaher LTD. The back of the card reads Gallaher LTD from Belfast and London. This is a thick stock card, it seem to be very well made, a more expensive card than most. I am unsure if Gallaher is a tobacco company, I assume they are.

Rare Photo from Seventeen

This is one of the earliest photos I have come across from his early film days. This is from the film, "Seventeen," from 1916 starring Jack Pickford and Louise Huff. The 21 year old Valentino was an uncredited extra in this film. Valentino is pictured behind Jack Pickford in the tuxedo, smiling. Any photos of Valentino as an uncredited extra are very rare.

This is an advertisement for The Precision Machine Co. This is a projector company that features a photo of Valentino along with a letter from him to the company dated 1923. The letter talks about his absolute satisfaction with the Simplex Projector at his Chateau Hudnut in Nice France. This is a difficult ad to find, it is a very unique piece. I was unaware he endorsed any products publicly besides Mineralava.

Photos from The Young Rajah

These are five photos from the film, "The Young Rajah." Until recently this film had been lost for over 80 years. The copy of the film that was found is not a complete copy; however, they do a fairly good job of piecing the film together with photo stills. It is just great to have a copy to view after all these years of the film being missing.

Early Photo of Rudolph Valentino on Canvas

I recieved this as a gift a while back. I believe these show up on ebay from time to time. This is a early photo of Valentino printed on canvas stock. It is not a vintage item, it is a newer item; however, it is a fantastic piece. The background is all black with the image of Valentino in a semi-profile view. It looks great framed.

Newspaper Discussing Valentino's Funeral

This is a newspaper with the headline, "75 Hurt in Rush to See Valentino." The mob of people in New York became unruly the first day of the funeral. Some people claim the crowsds and riots were a publicity stunt. I do not think it is unrealistic to think a few thousand people got out of hand to see the biggest movie star in the world, lay in state. This riot caused police to file a single file line to pass by Valentino's body at Campbell's Funeral Home in New York.

The first one is a single sheet with costumes from The Sheik, Monsieur Beaucaire, and The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. This was origianlly produced in the 20's or 30's, this particular was reproduced in the 90's.

This is Rudolph Valentino Paper Dolls by Tom Tierney. This is actually a book of outfits from various films and photos. This book was published in 1979 and is very common.

Rudolph Valentino Guitar Picks

This is by for one of the most random items I have come across. I do not like to post items that people made or produced to sell on ebay, but this one is the exception. Postcards from The Son of the Sheik

These are five postcards from the film, "The Son of the Sheik." The top three post cards are Beagles Postcards from London. These are my favorite postcards, I really like the beveled edges and the occasional colorization of some of the cards. I have a few of these in my collection, they tend to be more expensive than other postcards. The other two are German Ross Cards, also highly collectible, but, they are more common than the Beagles.

Plaster Sheik Statue

This is another one of those random items. This is a plaster statue depicting Valentino from the film, "The Sheik." The base of this statue reads, "The Sheik." I am unsure if this is a one of a kind or mass produced.

The Eagle Movie Program, Valentino's Red Cross Card

This is a werid combination. I saved this photo from an ebay auction from a few years ago. This is a movie program from the film, "The Eagle." This is not a typical program, most have photos of Valentino and movie scenes. This could be a premiere program. The most interesting part of this photo is Valentino's own personal American Red Cross card. It is dated 1926 and is signed by Valentino himself, he signed it R. Valentino.

Photos from Cobra

These are five photos from one of my favorite Valentino films, "Cobra." This was Valentino's first film after Monsieur Beaucaire. The studio wanted Valentino to get back to a basic role for his fans, so he was depicted as a womanizing Italian playboy with his favorite leading lady and mine, Nita Naldi.
