French Beyond the Rock Movie Flyer / Advertisement

This is a Movie Flyer / Advertisement from the film, Beyond the Rocks with Gloria Swanson.  I find this to be interesting because when I translated this flyer, which reads: le droit d'aimer, in English means: The Right to Love.  I am not sure if they released the film with this title in France or not.  It is very interesting.  This a wonderful overseas piece, this would look great framed.....on my wall.

Beyond the Rocks Newspaper Ad from 1922

This is another great example of a newspaper ad from May of 1922.  Surprisingly, many of these ads are still around today, there are literally thousands of variations of these movie ads for Valentino's movies.  This one depicts Valentino with Gloria Swanson, another great piece.

Rare Beyond the Rocks Lobby Card

Just as I am amazed when I find some new photo I have never seen.  I am also pleasantly surprised when I see posters or lobby cards I have never come across before.  This is a rare card from Beyond the Rocks.  Until now, I had never seen this card.  This would really look good framed in my Rudy room!

Movie Ad for Beyond the Rocks

This is a great newspaper advertisement for the 1922 film, Beyond the Rocks, starring Gloria Swanson, and of course Valentino.  Many of these ads were found in newspapers and magazines.  As I have stated in previous posts, these are fantastic collectibles, they are reasonably priced and often depict unique artwork from the film.  This is another great example of one of those ads.

Lobby Card from Beyond the Rocks

This is a lobby card from the 1922 film, Beyond the Rocks, starring Valentino and Gloria Swanson.  Original Valentino Lobby Cards are very sought after, most are very valuable.  This particular card is fairly rare and is not often seen.  I believe the value of this card is greater than most also due to the fact that it is Swanson and Valentino, Swanson was one, if not the biggest co-star in all of Valentino's films.  Hence this card duel star-power collect-ability.  This would look great hanging from my Valentino wall....if there were space left.

Beyond the Rocks Movie Poster

This is a colorful, vibrant, classic movie poster depicting Gloria Swanson and Valentino from the film, "Beyond the Rocks." This is a rare, and hard to find poster from the 1922 film. There are so many different variations of posters that exists for each film. It is amazing just how many of them I have never seen before, including this one. I also find it interesting the poster has Henry Clive's signature on the bottom, the same artist who was responsible for the Canco Tins, one of The Sheik posters and many other items as well. This is truly a fantastic piece.

This is five photos from the recently discovered film, Beyond the Rocks, co-starring Gloria Swanson. This is an interesting film, not only because it starred Valentino and Swason, but because there were so many costume changes for Valentino in this film. I do enjoy more of the obscure photos from the less popular films.

1970's Poster of Rudolph Valentino and Gloria Swanson

This is a poster from the 70's depicting Valentino and Gloria Swanson from the film, "Beyond the Rocks." This colorful, psychedelic style poster reads, "Rudolph Valentino had it." I am unsure what the poster is for or what it is advertising. These posters, even though not very old, are not easy to find.
