Photos from Blood and Sand

Here are five photos from the 1922 film, "Blood and Sand." Blood and Sand is a fantastic film which co-starred Lila Lee, Walter Long, and my favorite silent sexy-vamp Nita Naldi. One of the photos is taken from NitaNaldi.com, it is my favorite of the five, I enjoy the artsy shadow play. A great story, great acting, and a film filled with great costumes!

    My copies of blood and sand never include the scene where he is wrapping the long waist fabric around himself...?! That shot is used a lot for the films publicity....?

    That makes me wonder about my copy as well, I will have to go back and double check. There are many publicity shots for his films that did not appear in the film. One of my favorites are the photos I posted from The Sheik from a different ending where Valentino is wearing a white suit!

    Brad, did you ever get a minute to check your copies of Blood And Sand to see if any contained the waist wrapping scene?

    No, I still have not had a chance to. I will have to check this week sometime. I honestly do not think it is in there. I will check and see.
