1920's Silent Star Paper Fan

This is promotional paper fan from the Colonial Theatre from Massachusetts. The fan features various silents stars, but features Valentino right in the center of the fan. Even though these fans were most likely massed produced by the theatre, I have never come across one until now. This is another example of a great random Valention collectible.

  1. Hi, My name is Valerie Parreira and I own a original Valentino Bust from 1926. It has been in my family for as long as I can remember. It is from the movie "The Sheik" and was probably made in remeberence of him after his death. It had the date 10/26/1926 on a lable on the bottom since then has been lost. I have been trying to find anyone who may info on this piece. It has two chips on it from the many moves it made while I was growing up. It does not take away from it's beauty. It is amazing to look at. I have had butterfield the antique gallery look at it many years ago to find out about it and they couldn't even apraise it due to having nothing to compare it to. They said it may be the only one in exsistance. I would like to send photo's to see if anyone knows anything about this. Please help and let me know where to send photo's. My email is manosteel07@att.net. I would like to have some answers.
