Glass Slide from The Eagle

This is a Glass Slide from the 1925 film, The Eagle.  As I have stated with other Glass Slide posts, these are difficult to find without cracks or chips.  Most of these were hand painted.  While these were in use, I am sure no one ever considered these to be collectibles one day, as with most things we collect today.  Valentino Glass Slides are still very desirable and in good condition can be quite valuable.

  5. That is awesome! I love with period films reference the silents and of course Rudy! I love the movie Chaplin. I am Chaplin fan as well. I thought Robert Downey Jr. was totally robbed for not winning the Oscar. My only complaint about the film was no reference about Valentino!
