Brazilian Paperback Valentino Biography

This is a rare biography on Valentino from 1970.  The cover simply translates to Retrospective, Rudolph Valentino.  It is a laminated style over-sized paperback book.  The book was published in Rio de Jeneiro.  I am a big collector of Valentino books and sheet music, this is the only copy I have ever come across.  Not to say there are not thousands more out there, its just that I have never seen them. The book is in Portuguese  and has many great photos of Valentino.  I have included a photo of the front and back cover.  This is a great, rare find!

Rare Spanish Blood and Sand Photoplay Book

This is a rare paperback from Spain. This is a photoplay edition from the 1922 film, Blood and Sand. This is a fairly rare book, it has a fantastic colorized photo of Valentino from the film on the cover. I really enjoy the items from overseas with all the unique, colorful artwork. This is a fantastic piece!

Rare Spanish Cobra Paperback Book

This is a very rare paperback book from Spain. This is similar to the Black Eagle book I posted earlier this month. The book is in Spanish and features various photos from the film, Cobra from 1925. Just as I stated about the Black Eagle book this book is made of a very cheap, thin paper, thus leading me to believe 85 years later there are not many in existence. This is one of my favorite book covers, I really enjoy the colorized scene of Valentino and Nita Naldi.

Rare Spanish Eagle Paperback Book

This is a rare paperback book from Spain. The book is titled The Black Eagle. This paperback is wrote in Spanish and has various photos from the film from The Eagle from 1925. The book is made with a cheaper paper stock which means most likely there is not a great deal of copies still in existence. This book is very difficult to find and would be quite valuable. I am a huge Valentino book geek this was a fantastic book to obtain.

2 Valentino Paperback Books

These are a couple of paperback books from the same authors, Chaw Mank and Brad Steiger. The books are simply titled Valentino. This particular book is one of my favorite paperback covers. It is a colorized photo from The Young Rajah. It was published in 1966 by Corgi Books. It is not a common book, moderately difficult to find.
This edition was published in 1975 by Manor Books. This is a much easier copy to find.
