This is a great magazine called Moving Picture Stories. The cover depicts Valentino from the 1926 film, The Son of the Sheik. This magazine is dated August 3rd 1926, just 20 days before Valentino's death. This magazine was obviously used to promote The Son of the Sheik. This is not a common magazine, the photo almost appears to have a colorized look to it. This is a great magazine.

Glass Slide from The Eagle
This is a Glass Slide from the 1925 film, The Eagle. As I have stated with other Glass Slide posts, these are difficult to find without cracks or chips. Most of these were hand painted. While these were in use, I am sure no one ever considered these to be collectibles one day, as with most things we collect today. Valentino Glass Slides are still very desirable and in good condition can be quite valuable.
Son of the Sheik Paperback Book
This is a rare paperback from Spain. This is a photoplay edition from
the 1926 film, Son of the Sheik. This is a fairly rare book, it has a
fantastic colorized photo of Valentino from the film on the cover. I
really enjoy the items from overseas with all the unique, colorful
artwork. It really is difficult to know just how many overseas editions of Valentino books exists. Just when I think I have seen all of them, books like this pop up! This is a fantastic piece!
Photos from A Sainted Devil
Here are five photos from the lost film, A Sainted Devil. I would love to see this film, it co-stars my favorite silent actress Nita Naldi. She co-stared in more films with Valentino than any other actress. Three total, Blood and Sand, A Sainted Devil, and Cobra. She was also set to co-star in a fourth, The Hooded Falcon, which was never made. These are five photos from the film not often seen. The first photo is from Frau Wulf.
