Rare Version of The Conquering Power Movie Poster

This is a rare version of a movie poster from the film, "The Conquering Power." Items from this film are fairly difficult to find. This was the third of five films Valentino made in 1921. This film was released before The Sheik. Valentino was showcased in The Four Horsemen; but, really did not hit stardom until The Sheik. With all of this in mind this film was not overly marketed. This is a rare, hard to find poster that would look nice hanging in my house somewhere.

This is a hard to find Lobby Card from the film, "The Conquering Power." This is the first time I have come across a lobby card from this film. There are not a great deal of items out there from this film. This would have a great deal of value and desirability. I would love to own this card.

These are five photos from the 1921 film, "The Conquering Power." This film, which was released only a few months after The Four Horsemen also co-starred Alice Terry and was directed by Rex Ingram, just as in The Four Horsemen. This is not the most popular Valentino film, the plot is a bit flimsy; however, a Valentino film all the same. My favorite part of the film, is when Valentino sports a three-o-clock shadow. Anyway, most of these photos are not too common, enjoy!

Glass Slide from The Conquering Power

This is a glass slide from the film, The Conquering Power from 1921. Glass slides were used in movie theaters as a still trailer to preview upcoming films. It was placed in front of the movie camera so that it was reflected on the screen. These were often hand painted, so the same slide may now be found in many color variations. These are difficult to find with out cracks, chips or breaks, they are fairly fragile. The more colorful ones in good shape can be quite valuable. I am still looking for this one myself. I find these to be unique movie collectible items, this was just one more marketing tool to promote the film.

This is a rare movie poster from the 1921 film, The Conquering Power. This was the 3rd of 5 films Valentino made in 1921. His major stardom was not realized until The Sheik, which was the 5th film he made in 1921. Notice Valentino's name is not billed on the poster, the same goes for Alice Terry. There are not a great deal of collectible items from this film; furthermore it was one of Valentino's more obscure films. This poster is however a wonderful, colorful example of classic 1920's movie poster. This piece would be quite valuable and very difficult to find.

The Conquering Power 3 Sheet Movie Poster

This is a rare 3 sheet Movie Poster from the film, The Conquering Power. This was not one of his popular films, however; any original poster, especially a three sheet is very rare and valuable. The only problem with three sheets are the size, they are next to impossible to frame because they are huge. To me this would be a great problem to have.
